Subject:Seeking OpenOffice vs. FrameMaker Comparison From:jah -at- hunterpdt -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 31 Oct 2003 12:55:03 -0700
Hello all,
Can anyone point me to a comparison between OpenOffice.org and
FrameMaker? I've seen Word vs. FrameMaker comparisons but not OpenOffice
vs
Frame. Some of the Word vs. OpenOffice comparisons say that a better
comparison would be to compare OpenOffice to FrameMaker but I have yet to
find such a comparison.
Would it be a fair comparison to replace Word with OpenOffice in the Word
vs. FrameMaker comparisons? That approach seems too easy to me. I'm
looking for a more specific comparison between the two.
Thanks,
John A. Hunter
