Since techwr-l periodically discusses the concept of tracking bugs and issues, I thought I'd pass along the following, excerpted from the latest TidBits newsletter (www.tidbits.com):

JIRA: Revolutionary Issue Tracking: a world class bug and issue tracking application - instantly usable and highly flexible. As used by NASA, Boeing, Cisco, Stanford, Sony, AOL, and more! See it at WWDC 2004! <http://www.atlassian.com/c/TIDB/10351>

I have no experience with the product, and no personal stakes in mentioning it. Purely an FYI, and caveat emptor.
