Sandy Harris offered this link on how to ask questions:
http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
--------------------------------

Hey Sandy. Thanks for the link. Very cool. I'll be including it as a link in various articles on my Web site. I especially liked the section near the end on called "How To Answer Questions in a Helpful Way." Points like:

"Be gentle. Problem-related stress can make people seem rude or stupid even when they're not."

and

"Reply to a first offender off-line. There is no need of public humiliation for someone who may have made an honest mistake. A real newbie may not know how to search archives or where the FAQ is stored or posted."

semm valuable advice to keep in mind (along with all of the helpful advice on how to ask questions).

Thanks again.
