This is often the case when a prospective writer is interviewing with a
tech pubs group whose members are dedicated Frame users. When
the hiring manager and other interviewers are not, for example when
you are going to be writer #1 at a company, the subject of authoring
tools either never comes up or does just in passing, as in "what do you
think we need?" Sometimes, I get the feeling that ardent Frame users
aren't much different from Mac users circling their tool wagons.

Frame seems to be a requirement for most TW jobs here in Ireland. That
doesn't mean that it's always the number one requirement for the
position, but if you don't have Frame, you won't even get an interview.
