In my decidedly limited experience with consulting, opportunities that
come from recruiters are almost always relatively low level assignments
that should really be W2 temp jobs. The only consulting work I've ever
gotten or offered were all direct contracts between consultant and a
company's Purchasing dept and were generated through direct contact
and/or networking.
