Tom, it depends exactly what you're doing in RoboHelp. In my recent
experience (starting last summer), I have found that when I create
WebHelp in RoboHelp X5, I can create a Word template and RoboHelp does a
pretty good job outputting to MS Word. You do it just like creating
other forms of help, and as long as you're using styles in your RoboHelp
source, you can map those styles to Word styles in the template. You can
even specify exactly what to export, including things like the table of
contents and index. I was pretty happily surprised, because now we're
creating online help first, and then exporting it to Word for
printed/PDF docs.

What's the best way to export/transfer text written in RoboHelp into
Microsoft Word? Cutting and pasting loses the formatting. Another method
I've tried puts background shading behind the text. Most of the text
consists of numbered lists. Thanks for any advice,

Tom
