Excellent point. I think everyone on the list can remember a time when
workplace relationships were not ideal. I agree that it is good if you
can forge friendships with the people you work with, but if not... so be
it. You (and them) are there to do a job and get the job done, not for
anything else.

The goal is to get from Point A to Point B. If a few toes (including
mine) get stepped on while on the way... hey, I can live with it. You
can only use the thinking of 'Go along to get along' so far.
