It's been years since I met anyone like that in the ranks of working
tech writers. If you consistently turn in crummy deliverables,
eventually there is no way to hide from accountability, especially with
today's lean budgets and hair-trigger layoffs. So those actors
gravitate toward jobs with no deliverables and no accountability, where
thay can hang out much longer.
