Recently one of my friend got a job offer from a reputed IT company.

They are asking him to submit original Passport copy and original

degree certificate...I think he should'nt go for this offer.

There is no way I am handing over my Passport to anyone who is not a government official! Sounds like a set-up for identity theft. Is your friend sure it is a legitimate company?
