Our Word documents use watermarks in the headings ("Draft," "Obsolete,"
"Controlled copy," etc.). I would like to have a watermark that shows up
*only* in the printed copies and not on-screen. I want to include a
print-date field in the watermark, so I need a textual and not a graphic
solution. Finally, I would like this to work without resorting to a
customized toolbar button or keyboard shortcut, i.e. printing the document
on any PC by any standard method (CTRL+P, File|Print, or the Print icon)
will do the trick.

The documents in question are in Word 2K on Win XP, but users who print will
sometimes have Word XP (2002) or 2003.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

Dan Goldstein
