What am I looking for? That's a good question. I'm a self-taught
technical writer as I've only taken one class on technical writing and
that was in 1994 I think. We use RoboHelp 5X, so something that gives
me a better idea of other things that I can do with RoboHelp would be
great. But, over all maybe a midlevel training in technical writing.

I did try to get a approval for the conference in Vegas as mentioned in
an earlier post. That conference sounded perfect for me except the
higher-ups did not like the location.

Thanks,
Deb McNally

What, specifically, do you think you want?

The WritersUA (help authoring and othe ruser assistance topics)
conference is next week in Las Vegas. It's probably too late to think
about that one. www.writersua.com

Check out DocTrain as another has suggested.

Also check out the STC conferences (www.stc.org).

But there are many conferences every year that you could attend, both
large and small, near and far... What you're looking for will
determine which ones are best for you to attend.
