If you are tired reading about DELL vs. IBM:

Try the episode about protagonist Ebenezer Cook trying to buy (and end up
stealing) a notebook at the beginning of John Barth's "The Sot-weed Factor"
(1960). The whole book (750 p.) is definitely worth reading and has much
information for the technical writer, f. e. a procedure to come to the aid
of your manhood using an aubergine/eggplant ...
