You cannot talk about any tool without including the process and
conditions underwhich that tool is used.

Most times, your existing process is defined by the tool it is
developed around. Change that tool without changing the process and
it becomes a poorer tool. It may be the greatest violin Stradivarius
ever made, but swap the violon with a cello and the music sounds
horrible.

It isn't the loss of a tool that I'd care about..it is the process
that needs to be redefined when that tool is swapped.
