First, validation is internal, reflexive (usage issue, here).

Not everything is competitive. Sucks for me, since as honorary
TECHWR-L Debate Club captain, there's blood at my feet when it
comes to wordplay. But we're tryin' to exchange information here,
so forget that.

We are strangers. Motion is made to be less etrangere. That's wise.

Geography. Time zone. Head shot. Link to CV. A link to anything,
any personal web. Context. All good.

Listservs can't reliably deliver these, breed repetition, and are an
honorable but dull tool that's rather over.

TECHWR-L should move from MX to the richer Web. Or the kids will
ignore it. And there are always kids.
