... you'll find a link to a short N.Y. Times article about the ScrapBook extension, from April. The linked page has entered the nytimes.com paid archive. Never fear, a respectful workaround is close at hand.

1. Copy the original article link.

2. Go to Aaron Swartz's nytimes.com genlink page, here:

http://nytimes.blogspace.com/genlink

3. Enter original link. Submit. Follow resulting link.

And that's that.

This method exists with the tacit, unspoken assent of The Times, to support its RSS initiative. Don't abuse it.
