My wifi system went down after a bad electrical storm last month. It
wasn't complicated to set back up. It took me maybe 15 minutes to get
all "native" machines back up and running, but I had a heck of a time
with my work laptop until I realized its internal wifi adapter was a b
and not a g. I made a quick fix to my router settings and was up and
running 100%.

The 2 laptops are running XP Pro. The one ethernet-connected PC is a
old Win98 machine. It was more difficult setting that up to work with
the XP machines than it was to set up the router.

YMMV.
