I guess I'd want to know what the client's reasoning for their preference is. If they haven't thought about it, you could jump in with a phrase about standard practices...

I've only seen labels treated the way you describe (bolded).

all,

i am accustomed to seeing information such as...

Name: Joe Bla

UserID: Bla bla

Password: blaaah

Company: Bla Bla Inc.

(etc.)

...presented with the labels (Name:) in bold and the labled information (Joe Bla) not in bold.

my client seems to prefer the reverse for their web application: information in bold, labels not in bold. i've only ever seen one instance (a crm application) in which information was presented this way, and i must say its effect on me was comparable to seeing the word "green" written in blue.

anyone have any arguments for or against one way or the other?
