I am an obsessive planner from the time I get up to the time I go to
bed. But there are times when someone enters my office (which is new
btw!!!) and say, "Kelly, I need this..." BAM! Just like the Emilero or
whatever his name is and the doc is finished. Other times I spend what
seems like an inordinant amount of time researching, drafting,
writing, testing, and on and on and on until I have a final copy.

99.9% of my stuff in internal and extremely localized (primarily 1-2
departments) within my company, and yet there are times when I have to
follow corporate guidelines which add a new twist to any kind of
roadmap I might have laid out prior to beginning a project.

Other departments where I work have lengthy review processes for
documents, luckily I do not have to subject myself and my work to
that!
