Jennifer, I used 4 in a previous job and am using MX now. I'd say there are some significant improvements, including to the Import Word feature. Specifically, you can directly import a Word doc instead of the Word HTML version. This means that you don't have to deal with all the MS HTML cruft, and consequently won't have to mess so much with the code. It also imports table data very nicely, both Word and Excel. It can't handle large imports well, but at least it tells you if something is simply too big to manage.
