Also, OOo1.1.X did not translate some bits of Word docs quite 
right, esp. things like spacing in tables and cross-refs and 
variables. OOo1.9.X does all of this really well. Hence the 
excitement some of us have about the new version. BTW, I haven't 
tested Word-OOo1.9 conversion enough to see what problems remain.
