Your page is very helpful.

I would suggest adding:

Inkscape (draw program). http://www.inkscape.org/

jEdit (full-featured programmer's editor with syntax highlighting for
many languages including HTML, XML, etc.--more than 130 in all. A Java
application, it runs on any platform that supports Java and has a
range of plug-ins. It also can run as an Eclipse plug-in itself.

I'm sure others will have their favorites as well.
