Greetings to List Members!

Here's a problem that I need to resolve:

When I import a .gif to .fm file at 150 dpi resolution and render a PDF of
the .fm file, the image displayed on the PDF is hazy ( at 125% zoom level of
the PDF).

I have tried importing the images at 72 and 96 dpi', but most times I need
to tweak the images to fit into the anchored frame. These bunch of images
appear quite okay on the .fm file, but the PDF turns out really awful.
This really eats up loads of my time.

Any advice on how I need to resolve this will be appreciated.
More importantly, if anyone could please tell me:

1. What is the best format of images to use?
2. What is the best resolution to render these images, so that I have
quality
images displayed on the PDFs?

Request your responses.

Thanks a ton in advance.
-Best Regards

Padma
