BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina.
I have worked as a graphic designer prior to this, that's my closest experience
to this position.

I am an avid reader and have a good eye for details.

I have heard of quite a few j-school grads getting into tech writing. A colleague
that has relocated to San Diego has a Masters in English with an emphasis on rhetoric.
