Okay techwriter, we'll give you cover fire while you run to the boss's office with the new instructions. Keep your head down so you don't get shot. If you survive, you can see your family in six months.

The rest of you give me 20 push-ups and pull that Hummer out of that mud hole. When that's done, report for chow.

Who has the easy job? Compared to marines who put their lives on the line, I'd say we have it pretty easy.

On another note, I am working on a project with a Marine who insists my
job is EASY! He can't understand why I get paid what I get paid... blah
blah blah. Does anyone else ever have this issue come up, where you feel
slighted for making what you do look so easy? Is it not the point of tech
writing to take what is difficult and make it look, or at least read,
easy?
