Does anyone know of an OpenSource utility or graphics program that will convert jpg images to some format with CMYK color space?

I realize jpg isn't the best format for capturing images, but color fidelity isn't paramount in this instance. Having said that, our print vendor, and InDesign, prefer CMYK. Any suggestions? I have a "lite" version of PhotoShop, but I can't locate the right menu choice to make that conversion. I suspect it only comes with the "pro" version.
