Is this sentence from a resume? If so, there's a typo
in "implementation," and did you/he/she really design
projects? Suggestions, depending upon what was
actually done, and assuming it's a resume:

a) Designed and implemented artificial lift systems.
b) Led projects to design and implement artificial
lift systems.
