I thought the title of that book was A *MAC* IS NOT A TYPEWRITER. I too
was raised on the "two spaces after a period" rule, and in fact, that's
how we did things around here until relatively recently. I'm having
trouble getting used to the one-space rule.

LOL!

You need to give them Robin Williams' book "A PC is not a Typewriter!"

In all fairness to them, I entered the tech writing world with the "two
spaces" mentality. After all, the last time I had taken a writing course
was in the mid-1970s. To *me* that's still recent history.

I'm the lone tech writer in an old school world. After working here for
eight months, my use of "one space after a period" is now under scrutiny
but none other than those in charge of documentation. I can't wait to
see what's next. Like, why did I not use the carbon paper in the copier?
