I am the same age as John.. I am 42 and have been doing technical writing since I was 40. I was in the nursing field before that and went back to school as an STC major, thinking I may do Medical writing, but found technical writing and love it!

I'm 42 but have only been getting paid to write for five years, and feel much younger than that. (It helps that I act younger than that, as well, but that's another poll question.)
