I've just read with interest a long thread in the archives from 2003
about the value of a Master's degree in TechComm.
One poster said that it is only worth obtaining an MA/PhD if you are
pursuing a job in academia or research. Then the poster said, good luck
getting a job because the job market for teachers of Tech Comm was so
bad. That was in 2003.

How is the job market in 2006 for teachers in Tech Writing (University
level) in the USA?
I'd appreciate input from all, but specifically from any tech comm
teachers in the USA on the list.

Thank you.
