I was asked to put my entire Robohelp project into SourceSafe.

Currently we have about 4500 files (3 projects.) I have had no problems,
and I often use SourceSafe to go back and get a file that Robohelp
corrupted (not SourceSafe.) So I don't see a downside to it. The
original upload is the most time-consuming part, and even that isn't
bad.

Subject: Configuration Control of Help Files

In the process of evaluating new Help Authoring tools we were asked to
put the Help under Visual Source Safe. The application developers seem
to think that each topic should be a configuration item. That hasn't
been my past experience with either documents or online Help. What do
you think? Do I need to be able to identify the changes to each
topic/page? We will still archive and control the entire set.
