Just came across a nifty little tool for online collaboration--basically like a Wiki of sorts, only repackaged so that it looks to the user* to be more directly targeted at interactive document revision: http://www.writeboard.com/

* This kind of teamwork is inherent to Wiki-dom, but WriteBoard seems to me to make that functionality overt rather than implicit.

Has anyone used this tool before? Don't have time to play with it just yet, but I can already see a few drawbacks compared with Word's revision tracking. Nonetheless, this seems like an interesting way to (for example) revise a document interactively while you're on the phone with a client in a distant city.

Thoughts (and alternatives) welcome.
