Hi All

Any suggestions for alternates to Arial and Verdana, and TNR and
Garamond for headings? This is for Electronic copy - Online help, not
for printed copy. I am so bored with these (in the subject of this
email). I want to do something different but I want to stay reasonably
conservative too. Can you make some suggestions of some that look nice?
Serif or Sans Serif are fine, because whichever I go with for the
headings I will make the body copy the other

I like Sylfaen (serif) for body text - nice, clean look - and Lucida Sans
for headings. Palatino Linotype is good for character formats on top of body
text - or for use in image captions. Sylfaen, however, does not look too
good in bold, and (IMHO) sucks when italicized. That's why any emphasized
text is usually at least a different color, and mostly a different font,

No doubt almost each writer on this list has their own favorite fonts, likes
and dislikes acquired from years of experience... this promises to be an
interesting thread! :-)
