I've not found much difference between LCD monitors. Not
terribly surprising, since they're a lot like VCRs, dozens of
different models using core components (the panels) made
by maybe a half-dozen companies worldwide. None of the
specs you used to worry about with CRT monitors, such as
dot pitch, refresh rate, convergence, etc., apply. I pick them
mostly on the basis of how much they cost and what their
warranties are.
