You guys really need to go WAYYYY back to my original post whereby I said
that making fun of Indians was in poor taste. It had nothing to do with
Friday humor or whether or not I, or anyone else, laughs at your sarcasm. I
believe that if you have to make fun of an ethic group in order to "get a
laugh," then that is a form of racism. There are other ways to be humorous,
but they take more skill than simple sarcasm. Steve Martin never made fun of
ethic groups, yet, he is considered one of America's finest humorist.
With that said, I'm done with this thread. There are too many positive
things to take up my time and most of them are truly funny. So, if you think
making fun of people because of their background is humor, then go for it.

Why can't humor be left to those of us that do it well?
Richard, although I
found your humor quite funny, it made Al go all kerfuffle.
He forgot the
(?) above. Here Al, this one's on me: (?).
You're a pro, James, and I stand in awe before you. Clearly, some of us
take humor too seriously. Or not seriously enough. Or something.
But if the rest of us just give up, do you really have time to do *all*
the Friday afternoon postings yourself? ;-)
