I'm reminded of a line from Whitman's "Leaves of Grass": "I am large.
I contain multitudes." The line before that is "Do I contradict myself?
Very well, then, I contradict myself," which may also apply to being a
technical writer, or maybe it's just me.

In the few months I've been a technical writer, I've become:

A writer (well, a paid writer)
A graphic designer
An information architect
A webpage author
An instructor
A project planner

And today, I have become important enough to warrant my very own huge
dry-erase board for my new project. Or maybe we're just trying to run
out the budget before year-end. . . It doesn't take much to make me
happy-you should have seen my face when I got my second LCD monitor.
