Linked Objects in MS Word

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone run into any common problems or glitches
while using MS Word's "linked objects" feature?

I have had numerous, well documented problems with the
various numbering/outline features of MS Word and was
wondering if I could expect the same from this portion
of the program.

While I have used linked object in the past it was
always with Adobe FrameMaker...not Word.
