One of my authors is working on specs for a deployment framework for our
system. He uses "undeploy" to name one of the required tasks. My
instincts say to change it to "remove", but Googling shows many tools
with an "undeploy" command.

The audience for the document is made up entirely of developers and
system administrators. Am I safe in retaining "undeploy"?

Thanks,

Jessica
