Nice but not really a good idea. I have contributed to Forrest in the part,
improving some of the docbook stylesheets. That's grand, but it does not give
you all the rich publishing features of docbook.

I agree that docbook has a steep learning curve. But the end result is well
worth it, once you know what you are doing :-)
