Connecticut is an at-will state as well, no notice needed. You can quit
without giving notice, also.

I missed the part where someone got black balled. That is probably
something you can sue for and win, unless the person doing the black
balling has actual evidence that what they are saying about you is true
....

Oh, they can (and do) fire folks without cause up here. They just have
to pay severance for the privilege.
