This sounds like someone who emails you got pwnt by a trojan, virus or
worm. The bad digital biology is now plundering their address book, and
faking your name as well as others.

My suggestion is to change your "personal name" on gmail to be
something distinctive, so people get used to seeing something like
this:

"Wormless Kathleen MacDowell" <kathleen -at- writefortheuser -dot- com>
