I saw lots of delete pages responses, however, since you only want to
retain 10 percent of the original, it sounds to me like the best option
would be to extract pages.
In Acrobat Pro: Document > Extract pages
Specify the page range to extract
Check the box if you want to delete the pages after you've extracted them
(sound like no in your situation)
The pages will be saved as a new file titled something like "Pages
extracted from..."

Less work than deleting 90 percent of the file, and less chance of
irrevocably damaging the source (delete pages after extract is not a
default option).
