All -- thanks for your thoughtful and informative answers -- I
appreciate them greatly, as I'm sure that you are all, like me,
presented with plenty to do every day.
While many of your suggestions would be of great use in judging our
performance within the context of our own company, with one exception
(the tracking of Doc bugs, which we do), no one seemed to have an idea
of how to compare two doc organizations -- that is, how does HP's doc
team performance compare to that of Sun? (entirely hypothetical and
arbitrary choices of company names, pleas insert and honor all
appropriate Trade and Service marks).
