I didn't see the original post, but I've been having problems creating
pdf's ever since we installed CS3. Many times when I tried, the Word and
Acrobat would crash. So what I started doing was saving a copy of the
file just to create pdf's. But, I think I've discovered what causes the
problem--having the document in print preview when I start up Acrobat.
Since I've started changing the Word doc to Normal view, I haven't had
problems (until today, when I forgot).

Just a tip in case anyone else is having weird issues.
