Yup - That's it! 8 Track tapes...

I still remember enjoying "In the jungle the might jungle, the lion
sleeps tonight.."

Which, by the way, some new guy sang on the radio the other day like it
was a new hit or something - a horrid rendition of the original

Are you talking about 8 Track tapes? My first car had an 8 Track tape
player...I remember they were supposed to be so wonderful because the
tape could not come out like it did with cassettes. I think they died
out about six months after I bought a supply of them for my car :)

I just dated myself as well!
