This is not a one/zero proposition. The STC does not have to take a
position in order to comment.

Here's a suggestion: "As a professional organization of international
technical writers, we are going to be deeply interested in the outcome
of this case. Technical writers work closely with software developers,
hardware manufacturers, and other technical, scientific and engineering
organizations to create easy to understand user guides, as well as an
array of other technical communications vital to the success of products
and services worldwide. This case will have implications relevant to our
members who successfully deal with tight deadlines and rigorous quality
standards in these companies."

Why is that so difficult?
