Evelyn,

If you structure your website as an extension of your resume, then future
employers or agencies will not think of you as a competing company. For
example, my website is designed that way. It has testimonials and generic
examples. It's located at www.4techwriter.com. When a potential client is
looking for samples, I direct them there. In an interview, I bring real
samples of previous work.
