I use ==> Click *XYZ* on the Main Menu screen to display the ABC dialog box.

My current gig insists on using "screen," but preferably it's ==> Click *XYZ
* in the Main Menu window to display the ABC dialog box.

You may want to refer to Chapter 1 of the *Microsoft Style Guide for
Technical Writing*, PDF copies of which may be found online using your
favorite search tool.
