Toggle the image field code and see whether the path is absolute or
relative. If you can determine the correct relative path (by trial and
error) you can do a regular old Find and Replace (while the field codes
are still displayed) and change all the paths.
Alternatively, you can unlink all the fields in a dummy copy by pressing
Ctrl + Shift + F9.
