On Google there were ...

2,890,000,000 hits for email

7,830,000,000 hits for e-mail

Google, Yahoo, Dictionary.com use email. Merriam-Webster uses e-mail.
MSN uses both! (See
https://accountservices.passport.net/reg.srf?ns=msn.com&sl=1&lc=1033 and
http://windowslive.uk.msn.com/hotmail/)

So, perhaps it depends on whether the company or audience you are
writing for prefers email, Email, e-mail, E-mail, or (God forbid) eMail.

Leonard (who generally uses "email")
