Unfortunately, it was common that (1) most of the programmers would be
working on chunks that were invisible until some other programmer
wrote a UI chunk, and (2) the user task to be documented required
several programmers to complete and check in their chunks. So the
programmers might have to work for four or five months before there
would be an alpha build that the writer could work with.
